Kerry Blue Terrier Club Helps Fire Relief Efforts

SAN DIEGO,CA OCTOBER 25, 2007:
Kerry Blue Terrier Club of San Diego, Inc. Club President Edward Yingling announced today that members from the Club have signed up to participate in volunteer relief efforts with local agencies who are rescuing and recovering animals from the devastating fires ravaging Southern California.

Club members have signed up to be support volunteers and/or foster homes with local relief agencies in San Diego,Temecula and San Juan Capistrano. Some members actually drove a specially equipped rescue van Wednesday night from Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego to Temecula, California (70 miles) offering help and donations to the various relief centers located along the route.

“I am very proud of our members and their efforts to volunteer and help in the relief efforts” said Edward Yingling. In addition, the Club has raised and donated approximately $500 in food and equipment.
