Agility Events Montogmery Weekend 2005
The United States Kerry Blue Terrier Club will host its first ever Agility Trial on Friday, October 7, 2005, the closing day of the Montgomery All Terrier Agility Trials cluster in Kimberton, Pennsylvania. USKBTC's trial, like the other trials in this newly-expanded 4-day cluster, will be open to all breeds in the AKC Terrier Group.
Blessed with a wonderful trial site and a location reasonably close to the other Montgomery weekend events, the Montgomery All Terrier Agility Trials cluster has gained renown and enjoyed tremendous success in its 5 short years of existence.
USKBTC's Board of Governors strongly supports opportunities to broaden the club's sponsorship of AKC events. To that end, USKBTC held its first Obedience specialty during Montgomery week in Fall of 2004. In 2005, the club is adding this Agility event for the enjoyment of all Terrier fanciers.
It seems a long way off now, but October 2005 will be here before we know it. So tell all of your Terrier-loving friends and make plans now to be part of this one-of-a-kind Terrier event!

The Fifth Annual All Terrier Agility Cluster will be held outdoors at:
Kimberton Fairgrounds
Rt 113 North Kimberton, PA 19442

Countryside AS@aol.com, (814) 756-3545
The closing date is September 8, 2004 at 6pm.
The trial is limited (though it has not filled in the past), so get your entries in early.
Last year there were 13 Kerries competing in all levels of Agility. This year promises to be very special. I believe all the top Kerries from the entire country will be present, including Gabby, the first and only MACH Kerry, MACH Kerivale’s Talk About Town, who will be there Thursday and Friday.
On Thursday we will also be joined by the Obedience Kerries, so this will be a unique opportunity to see all the top performance Kerries in action on one day.
The trial hours are 8 am to 3 or 4 pm. The site is near the Devon Show site.
So, if you train your Kerry in Agility, hurry up and send in your entry. If not, take some time from the Hatboro Show and come and cheer us on.
Directions to the site:
Exit Pennsylvania Turnpike at Downington (old Exit 23)
Go south (left) on Rt.100.
Turn left (north) on Rt.113.
Follow Rt.113 North approximately 7 miles toward Phoenixville.
Site is on the left.
We are hoping to have trophies for winning Kerries in all classes, for High Scoring Kerry each day and High Scoring Kerry in the cluster.
